Dr. David Hewitt, an Academy research associate, will use the buds, bark, and blossoms of the historic trees in Bartram’s Garden to help you learn tree identification techniques.
Gather tips, find out how to use an identification tool called a dichotomous key, enjoy the garden, and learn a bit of its history! This field study is being held in coordination with and on the property of Bartram’s Garden, America’s oldest living botanic garden.
