- Children: $35/child for members; $40/child for non-members

- Cost includes snack, breakfast, and next-day admission.

- Spook-Tacular is appropriate for children ages 6-14. One adult is required per 3 children. No outside food or drink is permitted and extra large sleeping mattresses are discouraged.

Celebrate the strange, weird, creepy world of nature! Stay overnight in the murky and mysterious Academy of Natural Sciences next to Mesozoic monsters and mummies and find out what other strange creatures lurk the halls and research collections after dark.
Spooky Specimens Tour
The mad scientists of the Academy of Natural Sciences will show our ghoulish guests the best of the beastly, bloodless and batty specimens in the collections. Look forward to seeing the skeletons, skins, and skulls that fill the deep dark recesses of the Academy’s collections.
Costume Contest
Our costume contestants could win prizes for Most Creative, Scariest, Best-Overall and Best Group Costumes. You’ll start the night with our costume parade to get you in the Halloween spirit. Then you can change out of your costume (or not) and enjoy the fabulous Halloween activities we have planned.
Creatures of the Night!
The creatures of the night in our live animal show are sure to thrill! Nocturnal animals prowl and growl for your pleasure at this special Halloween Live Animal Show. Come see the awesome adaptations our night-loving neighbors have to make them dare to come out in the dark!
