“Cracking The Code: How 21st Century Building Codes Will Make Or Break Our Communities”

What if every new building in Philadelphia were a green building? What if everyone had access to the waterfronts, could enjoy safe bike lanes, and could conveniently utilize public transportation?

Zoning and building codes play a major role in almost every current effort to make Philadelphia a more sustainable city. How zoning codes are created and designated has major implications for the future of our city. Advocates for sustainability, design professionals, and interested citizens are welcomed to come learn more about ongoing efforts and upcoming zoning and building code reforms from city and state officials, national experts, and local practitioners.
