Submitting, reading, and sharing comments are central to building and nurturing online communities. We at theĀ  Center for Environmental Policy at The Academy of Natural Sciences encourage useful and appropriate comments for our posts and comments on other comments.

Useful and appropriate comments…

  • are not obscene. (You know what we mean.)
  • are not used for advertising, promotion, nor recruiting.
  • are your own words. (Don’t just copy and paste other people’s words. Take care to credit the right people.)
  • are your own responsibility. Anyone submitting a comment is solely responsible for the content of that comment.
  • respect people’s privacy. (This includes personal contact information.)

  • People submitting comments must provide their name and email address.
    • These requirements foster a level of accountability. They also allow a way for us to contact you clarification or details.
    • We will not use the names and emails submitted with your comment for promotional purposes nor share them with others.

    • Use our Contact Us page for other questions and for requesting specific information.
  • All comments are subject to approval and editing by our editors. Any editing of your comment will be noted in the published comment.
