Introduction to Transition Communities: Quiet Riot
Thursday, July 9, 6:30-8:30 pm
Our economy depends on long fragile supply chains powered by oil & coal.
Climate Change tells us we should change,
Peak Oil tells us we have to change.
Intertwined, these two issues tell us we must:
Re-localize our economy and reduce carbon emissions.
The Transition Movement acts as a catalyst to unleash local collective genius to produce locally all we can produce: food, energy, shelter, walkable community, health care…
If you are interested in the engaged optimism of Transition Community,
If you would like to help your community become resilient & self-reliant in a planned—even playful—energy descent, then join us - The Quiet Riot - on July 9th!
