geek awards

The Philadelphia Geek Awards is an annual, black tie ceremony hosted by Geekadelphia and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University that honors the talented geeks in the greater Philadelphia region. From artists to innovators, programmers to scientists, and authors to do-gooders, this ceremony honors the outstanding accomplishments of Philly’s impassioned, best, and brightest.

The Philadelphia Geek Awards will be held at the Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Think the Oscars, but with a tortoise greeting you on the red carpet, a butterfly landing on your tux, and T. rex watching over the cocktail hour.

Follow @phlgeekawards and @AcadNatSci on Twitter and Facebook for announcements regarding ticket sales, nominations, and more.
