The Ewell Sale Stewart Library provides quality Digital Imaging and Photographic Reproduction of its collections. The library also offers research and other assistance in obtaining images from its collection. For information and ordering, contact:

The services and fees presented below apply only to image reproduction. Additional Permission fees apply to any publication of these images. (See Permissions for more information.) There are no permission fees for private use.
For reproductions of specimens from the Academy's specimen collections, please contact the appropriate research department in the Center for Systematic Biology and Evolution.

| * Digitized images are scanned at 600 dpi and typically saved in the TIFF format. They can be are supplied either on CD-ROM or via ftp. † Rush Orders (3 business days if possible and if agreed to in advance). The Ewell Sale Stewart Library reserves the right to decline the rush of any order. |

The requester is responsible for all such costs even if the order is cancelled. The photographer’s fees are in addition to the charges stated on this fee schedule. The Academy of Natural Sciences retains ownership of the negatives and/or transparencies, and retains all rights for non-exclusive use. If slides or transparencies are made from original material, rental fees are in addition to the fees for making these images. † Rush Orders (3 business days if possible and if agreed to in advance). - The Library reserves the right to decline a digital imaging or photography request if the process may damage the material.
- Charges for publication rights are in addition to digital imaging and photography fees (see Permissions for more information).
- Loss or damage to loaned materials will result in the assessment of an additional fee of $100 per item, or actual replacement cost, whichever amount is higher.
- All prices are subject to change without notice.
