This rare periodical publication contains information about the arts and sciences, new discoveries, and philosophical and artistic controversies. It was illustrated with plates engraved using the process invented by F. J.C. Le Blond and improved by Gautier D'Agoty. The illustrations were printed from four separate plates colored with red, yellow, blue, and black inks.
