Extinct Western Vertebrates (1873): Plate VI

This is Plate VI from the "Extinct Vertebrate Fauna of the Western Territories" (1873). It contains fossil images from a variety of Eocene mammals, including an artiodactyl, a condylarth, a horse, at least one primate, a rodent, and possibly an insectivore. The lower jaw of Notharctus tenebrosus is located in the lower left. All of these fossils were collected in the Fort Bridger area (southwestern Wyoming and Northern Utah).
