Unfrozen in Time Visitors to the North American dioramas will hear “Unfrozen In Time: The Collective Voices of North American Hall.” This sound composition combines the voices of many North American mammals and birds, including those found in the dioramas. “Unfrozen In Time” was created by Lydia Hunn and John Avarese of Drexel University in celebration of the Academy’s Bicentennial. The piece plays for approximately 16 minutes and repeats on the hour and half-hour.
