The artist, later a Philadelphia dentist, made these pen and ink tracings of illustrations already published according to information given by H. A. Pilsbry. The tracings and some original drawings illustrate the first four volumes of the Manual of Conchology, 1878-82, and G. W. Tryon's, Structural and Systematic Conchology, 1882-84. Archived from the Conchology Department where the material was among the old stock of the Manual, Feb. 12, 1949.
