<p>This celebration was held March 19-21, 1912, the information about the meetings themselves being contained in E. J. Nolan's Centenary volumes, <emph render="italic">Coll. 431. </emph>The papers in the present collection begin with a volume of the registration of delegates, continues thru programs and minutes of the Centenary committee under the charimanship of Edward J. Nolan. A sizeable volume is also devoted to documents, that is, stenographers notes, final reports, cards, circulars, programs, and accounts all set up by Nolan. The Corresponding Secretary, J. Percy Moore, maintained his file of correspondence in four letter files with a cross reference on cards to some 1,000 institutions which were approached and invited to the celebration. Felicitations and congratulatory certificates were sent by twenty-seven institutions which were not represented at the celebration. Finally we have the correspondence of the President of the Academy, Samuel G. Dixon in arranging for the actual Philadelphia cooperation in the meeting.</p>
