This authority on dragonflies, once a curator at Carnegie museum and later special curator of Odonata at Michigan, joined with B. E. Montgomery to compile the indexes contained in this collection. Special lists and items for generic names in Odonata, for specific names and for the same type of material for each of the various families. Various letters are added which explain something of the history of this index.
