The three-volume accession lists (nos. 1-29,759) of ethnological and archaeological materials of the Academy's collection close with the 1928 entries. This is not a complete record of the receipts, as various specific donations were entered separately and accompanied the specimens when transferred from the Academy. The papers include documents, letters and notes, with lists of special donations and of subscribers for particular desiderata, such as the S. G. Morton crania collection, also a series of 12 photographs of Peruvian artifacts belonging to the Wm. S. Vaux collection, Jan. 1867, has been added.
