This typescript volume of 433 pages is the full manuscript from which the author's paper called, “On some Avian types, Principally Gould's in the Collection of the Academy”, published in its Proceedings, vol. 109, page 123-246, was extracted. Two copies were deposited in the Academy's library as mentioned in de Schauensee's published account, the carbon being on yellow paper which contains annotations, corrections and revisions in the hand of Mr. de Schauensee. These emendations were transferred to the first copy by the librarian.
