<p>Physician member of the Academy, he devoted much of his leisure to entomology and botany. Gradually his interest turned entirely to plants and was centered on lichenology. His valuable gift herbarium of lichens was added to the Academy's botanical collections in 1898. His writings consist of (A) &#8220;Notes on lichens in the herbarium of the Academy&#8221; (B) &#8220;Lichens Eckfeldti, 1887-1903&#8221; (C) Annotations in &#8220;Points-fortecking ofver skandinaviens vaxter... 4 Characeer, Alger och Lafver.&#8221; A letter signed by Henning Horn of Rantzien, 1958 is added.</p>
