Entomologist and editor of scientific publications for the Academy of Natural Sciences, and for the American Entomological Society, 1943-58 and once the President of that Society. Author of historical papers about each of these institutions, its members and activities. The present collection contains the manuscript notes and memoranda collected while preparing the above mentioned historical articles.
