This workbook of Viereck's is in the form of a loose leaf arrangement, is labeled the “first carbon copy” and is profusely interlined and corrected by the author. Many of the corrections are in red ink but certain additions are in black. The 124 numbered pages are taken up with general information and keys to the species, while the unnumbered pages at the back constitute descriptions of each species mentioned. About 100 pages are laid in the back which make up either a check list or an index to the volume.
