The miscellaneous group of documents, reports, lists and evaluations of the library are here grouped together for convenience rather than for subject unity. In 1940 the Director asked all curators to give a detailed evaluation of the library holdings in his speciality. Nine such reports are in the file signed by the curators. F. W. Pennell made an additional report on the articles lacking in the field of Scrophulariacea. A subscription list of the people who clubbed together to buy the Audubon elephant folio to donate to the Academy, in 1831 is included here, and various information lists about the manuscript holdings of the Academy, dated variously, 1940, 1954 and 1955.
