Penciled underscorings and check marks on the printed Catalogus Coleopterorum Europae by H. Schaum, Berlin, 1859, indicate the holdings of Wilson. One note in his hand, p. 45 is additional evidence that the records refer to the Wilson Collection. The printed volume had been preserved in T. B. Wilson's apartment of his brother Rathmel's home in Newark, Delaware; also the binding is similar to that found on many of the Wilson volumes which were donated to the American Entomological Society for its library. Although given to the Society it was later deposited in perpetuity at the Academy of Natural Sciences.
