<p>The original watercolors in this scrapbook are beautifully mounted, the figures done on smaller pieces of paper - some on vellum. The unidentified, unsigned examples have been attributed to James Petiver by the London book dealer who offered the volume for sale. Additional artists' signatures include: G. D. Ehret, Marshal, Thomas Robins and P. Withoos.</p>
