The following research awards, fellowships, internships and employment opportunities are available at the Academy.
- Böhlke Memorial Endowment Fund:
This fund provides support for graduate students and recent postdoctoral researchers in Ichthyology - Eckelberry Fellowship:
This program provides support for wildlife artists to develop their work through exposure to museum collections and/or field work. - Employment:
Current openings in the Center for Systematic Biology, Laboratory for Molecular Systematics and Ecology, and the Patrick Center for Environmental Research. - Gallagher Fellowship:
This fellowship provides support for original postdoctoral or sabbatical research on the systematics of microscopic invertebrates with priority for the study of rotifers. - Internships:
Current listing of research internships for college students and graduates. - Jessup/McHenry Awards:
These awards are for researcher wishing to conduct studies at the postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral levels under supervision of the curatorial staff. - Undergraduate Research:
The 10-week summer internships for undergraduates are part of the NSF's Research Programs for Undergraduates (REU).
