Greater Pottstown Watershed Alliance

The Greater Pottstown Watershed Alliance (GPWA) is a citizen action volunteer organization based in Pottstown, PA. Its mission is to Secure Habitats and Defend Streams (S.H.A.D.S) within the Greater Pottstown area. To accomplish their watershed-based enhancement projects, GPWA seeks out and creates cooperative alliances with local, state and federal agencies. Without these valuable alliances, GPWA would not enjoy the success and accomplishments they have created to date. If you would like to learn more about GWPA's monthly stream cleanups, dam removal partnerships or how to establish wetland restoration strategies, please contact Bill Cannon at (610) 326-3918.
