Leadership Circles
The Academy’s continued ability to make progress depends on a community of individuals who care deeply about the sustainability of the planet and the science on which it depends.

Leadership gifts are added to the Academy’s Annual Fund and provide the unrestricted income needed to maintain a vibrant and effective organization, able to better contribute to the advancement of science and science education. The Academy’s core programs include educational outreach to all ages in the effort to increase science literacy and engage a wider audience in stewardship, innovative research in biodiversity and environmental science, and outstanding service to the profession, the global community of scientists who use our precious biological collections.
Leadership Circles of Giving
At Leadership Circles, annual contributions to the Museum begin at $1,000. Donors receive basic benefits of membership and also receive additional privileges, including guest passes, invitations to special receptions and exclusive exhibit previews, behind-the-scenes tours and trips with scientists. In recognition of their generosity, Leadership Circle donors have the opportunity to meet the scientific and curatorial staff and learn first-hand about the Academy’s outstanding collections and research through enriching events and tours.
