Volunteering at the Academy

Volunteers and Volunteering

volunteer in outside-in exhibit

Volunteers make a vital contribution to the Academy. At any one time there are some 300 active volunteers who enrich the museum experience for our visitors or provide valuable assistance to our scientists and other professional staff behind the exhibit walls. In addition to providing crucial support for the Academy's missions in education and research, volunteering offers you the opportunity to meet like-minded friends and participate in engaging activities. The minimum age for most volunteer jobs is 14. Learn more about our current volunteer opportunities.
