Route 38 uses 20th Street in both directions. In addition, Westbound Route 48 uses Arch Street, while several Subway-Surface Trolleys and the Market-Frankford Line run under Market Street. Suburban Station is the closest regional rail station.

  • Phlash Trolleys provide quick and easy connections between the Academy and other Philadelphia attractions and hotels. See ridephillyphlash.com for service dates and more information.

  • Visitors traveling on US Route 76 should take US Route 676 East and take the first exit onto Winter Street to Logan Circle. (Please note that this exit appears almost immediately after you merge onto US Route 676.) Those traveling west on US Route 676 should exit at 22nd Street and turn right onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and proceed to Logan Circle.

  • There is metered parking near the Academy, some of which is free on Sunday (look for the signs that say “Except Sunday”). For more information about street parking, visit the Philadelphia Parking Authority's website.

  • Located at 1815 Cherry Street, the Logan Square Garage offers a touchless parking experience via the iParkit App; new users receive 10% off the first five times they park with the app (no promo code necessary). We recommend downloading the app before reaching the garage. Visitors may also use the map below to find and purchase parking in advance for touchless entry.
