The Academy Shop
Gift Shop Museum Store
The Academy Shop carries a variety of collectibles and gifts: from keepsakes to remind visitors of their trip to the museum to educational kits and natural history books for children.
It's open weekdays from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The store is located next to the Admissions Desk and across from Dinosaur Hall.

Phone Orders
In addition to purchasing during your museum visit, you can order from the Academy Shop over the phone. Use 215-299-1186 between 10 am and 4 pm EST to place your order.
For phone orders, Philadelphia residents are charged 8% state sales tax on taxable items. All other residents of Pennsylvania are charged 7%. Orders placed from other states and international orders are not taxed.
Shipping
- Shipping charges are based on total of purchase:
- $25.00 or less = $4.95
$25.01 – $45.00 = $5.95
$45.01 – $65.00 = $6.95
$65.01 – $85.00 = $7.95
$85.01 – $100.00 = $8.95
$100.01 or higher = 10%

Return Policies
You may return products within 30 days of receipt of your order for a full refund, minus shipping costs. Fossils and minerals are non-returnable. Please call the Museum Shop at 215-299-1186 to process your return.
