| I was invited to join the 1997 ITTO Borneo Biodiversity Expedition as Expedition Photographer. We worked on both sides of the Indonesian - Malaysian border studying two adjoining natural areas. One of my dream birds, Hose's Broadbill, Calyptomena hosii, fell into our nets on the last working day of the expedtion. This bird is found only in the hills of Borneo. |
