DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Cutest of all Greater Antillean birds is the tody. They inhabit only the four largest islands in the Caribbean and a few satellite islands. Only the island of Hispaniola has two species of this dimunitive bird. I photographed this one in the Sierra Bahoruco of the Dominican Republic in 1998.
