green living plan for philadelphia green text in green box

6 p.m.
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Auditorium
Free and open to the public

Join us for the Green Living Plan Mayoral Forum to hear how mayoral candidates stack up on issues of environmental equity. Moderated by Charles Ellison of WURD-FM, the forum will examine how candidates will take on the priorities of the Green Living Plan, such as addressing air pollution and urban heat, investing in and protecting parks and green spaces, growing green jobs, improving basic city services and enhancing water quality and infrastructure.

The Green Living Plan is a coalition of local environmental and neighborhood-based organizations, with the support of academia, that will produce a city-wide, community-driven agenda to share with the city’s candidates for Mayor in 2023. The agenda will outline environmentally focused and neighborhood-based policy, programmatic and investment solutions to Philadelphia’s most pressing quality-of-life challenges.

Let’s make environmental equity a priority for the next mayor of Philadelphia!
