Birthday Parties at The Academy
With a T. rex that has celebrated millions of birthdays, the Academy really knows how to throw a party! Celebrate your child's special day with dinosaurs, butterflies, hands-on activities and personalized attention from our staff.
Our party coordinator, a grandmother of nine, says:
"I have been to a lot of parties so I have a good idea on what people enjoy doing. Our guides are professional at what they do. All are well versed in the museum and interacting with party guest of all ages. They meet you at the door and are with you for the entire length of the party. You will be able to enjoy the party along with your children. "
Our Birthday Parties…
- Are for children ages 3 and up
- Are 2 hours long
- Are available at 10:30 am or 2:00 pm on Saturdays or Sundays
- Include free admission to the museum
Basic Birthday Party
Enjoy a private Party Room and a host who will guide you on a tour of our hands-on exhibits.
- $245 for members (fee is based on a group of up to 20 guests)
- $265 for non-members
- For parties larger than 20 people, larger than 20 people, there will an additional fee of $5 per additional guest
Theme Birthday Party
Enjoy a private Party Room and a host to guide you on a tour of our hands-on exhibits. Select a dinosaur, animal or butterfly theme. Includes take-home favor bags, colorful paper goods, cake and a special gift for the honoree.
- $330 for members (fee is based on a group of up to 20 guests)
- $370 for non-members
- For parties larger than 20 people, there will be additional fees of $8 per additional child & $5 per additional adult
Deposits, payment and refunds
A $100 deposit is due upon reservation. Full payment is due 15 days before the party. For a full refund, participants must notify the Academy at least 14 days before the event or be subject to a $50 fee. There are no refunds for cancellations during the week of the party.
